Raymond James welcomes $415 million advisor in Dallas

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James welcomed financial advisor Bill Dendy, JD, MBA, CPA*, CFP®, CLU, and his team to Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. (RJFS) – the firm’s independent broker/dealer – in Dallas, according to Kirk Bell, Central regional director for RJFS.

Dendy operates as Elite Financial Management (EFM), Inc. and joins from LPL, where he managed more than $415 million in client assets. Joining him at Raymond James are six team members: operations manager Julie Chapman; client concierges and RJFS registered representatives Kibb King, John Thompson and Todd Pace; client concierge and RJFS relationship manager Eamon Devlin; and RJFS branch associate Madison Montgomery. Already continuing to expand, recently welcomed financial advisor Bruce Lewin from B. Riley to the team and RJFS.

“Raymond James has a reputation for being client-first, and beyond that, a reputation for treating advisors as clients,” said Dendy, president of EFM and RJFS registered principal. “What attracted me to Raymond James initially was the balance of support and emphasis on advisor independence. The technology is thoughtfully integrated, the home office staff is quick and helpful, and the resources available for me and my clients have been a game-changer. I have been impressed with the transition support, which has been incredible.

“Though it might sound intimidating to think about making a move during this time of uncertainty, it was one of the smartest decisions I could have made,” continued Dendy. “I felt confident in our decision to move and wanted to be able to start taking advantage of the strong support and depth of resources at Raymond James. The research available for clients, the streamlined technology and the overall transition support for myself and my team have exceeded my expectations. It has solidified that this was the right move for me, my practice and my clients.”

Dendy has more than 26 years of professional experience in investments and financial planning in Dallas. He began his financial services career with Shearson Lehman Hutton and later transitioned to Prospera Financial Services. Dendy has an MBA with a concentration in finance from Southern Methodist University and holds the designations of Certified Public Accountant, Certified Financial Planner™ and Chartered Life Underwriter. He also earned his Juris Doctor from SMU.

“We continue to see interest from advisors who cite the firm’s resources, support and advisor-centric culture as differentiators in our industry,” said Bell. “We’re pleased that Bill decided to partner with Raymond James and we proudly welcome him and his team to our independent channel.”
