Raymond James welcomes new advisor managing more than $230 million in Abilene, Texas
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisor Sid Grant to Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) – the firm’s independent advisor channel – in Abilene, Texas, according to Kirk Bell, Central regional director for RJFS.
Grant joins from Wells Fargo Advisors, where he previously managed more than $230 million in client assets. He manages the new RJFS Abilene branch in Texas.
“It’s so exciting to be opening this branch,” said Grant. “The freedom offered from the independent channel and the flexibility to run my business how I see fit is a dream come true. I have a number of clients who also run their own businesses and they have all told me how excited they are for me to now be able to do the same. I’m confident my move to Raymond James is the right one and I’m excited to leverage the firm’s resources and support as I continue to serve and strengthen my relationships with my clients.”
Grant has been in the financial services industry for 26 years. Prior to joining Raymond James, he was the managing director at Wells Fargo Advisors in Abilene, where he worked for more than 20 years. Grant’s goal is to preserve his clients’ assets while helping them build net worth by analyzing and taking advantage of opportunities on both sides of the balance sheet. He is a graduate of Howard Payne University.
“My whole career has been about character and integrity, and I feel if you focus on those, then everything else falls into place,” said Grant. “Raymond James’ objectives and goals and the way that they treat advisors and clients align with those two very important values.”
“I am thrilled to welcome Sid to Raymond James,” said Bell. “I look forward to seeing him launch his new branch and grow his practice in the independent channel. With the highest integrity and his reputation in the industry of putting clients first, we are proud to expand in the Abilene area with him.”
