Raymond James welcomes experienced advisor team managing more than half a billion dollars in St. Augustine, Florida

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James welcomed experienced financial advisors Chuck Crist, AIF®, AWMA®, Chuck Gillingham, AIF®, and Ryan H. Jones, AIF®, AWMA®, in St. Augustine, Florida, to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm’s employee advisor channel, according to Bert White, Florida regional director for RJA. RJA’s St. Augustine, Florida, branch is part of the North Florida complex, led by Gregg W. Stupinski.

The advisor trio joins from BB&T Securities, LLC, where they previously managed more than $500 million in client assets. Joining them at Raymond James are Senior Investment Portfolio Analyst Mark A. Jones, APMA®, Senior Registered Client Service Associate Susan Dampier, and Registered Client Service Associate Amy Barrett. The team, which operates as Veritas Wealth Management of Raymond James, serves a variety of clients, including high-net-worth families, business owners, executives and foundations.

Jones has been in the industry for more than 21 years, with experience at firms such as Wells Fargo Advisors and BB&T Securities. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida.

Crist joined the financial services industry more than 24 years ago. Prior to Raymond James, he was with BB&T Securities and before that, Wells Fargo Advisors. Crist earned his bachelor’s degree from Flagler College.

Gillingham, senior vice president, Investments, has been in the industry for more than 25 years, with experience at Wachovia (later Wells Fargo Advisors) and BB&T Securities prior to Raymond James.
