Raymond James & Associates welcomes new Cleveland Complex manager
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed experienced manager Amy Smart as Cleveland, Ohio, Complex Manager for Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm’s employee advisor channel – according to Bill Theis, Mid-American regional director for RJA. Smart now oversees RJA financial advisors and branch associates within the Cleveland, Ohio, Complex (group of branches).
Smart joins Raymond James from Merrill Lynch, where she most recently served as Director, Market Executive for Central Minnesota and Associates, and had a leadership role for a variety of diversity and inclusion initiatives at her prior firm. Her background includes serving as a financial advisor and working as a producing manager, before deciding to devote herself full time to leadership. With her new role, Smart has relocated to Cleveland with her spouse Barbara.

Smart succeeds former Cleveland, Ohio, Complex Manager and Senior Vice President, Investments, Guy Jardine, who after five years in complex leadership is returning to his passion as a full-time financial advisor of his practice in Medina, Ohio.
