Mark McHugh, AIF®
Mark leads a team of investment professionals that advises entrepreneurs, high-net-worth individuals, family offices, endowments and foundations. He has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry and has appeared on the list of Barron’s Top 100 Financial Advisors* seven consecutive times beginning in 1999. He works closely with his colleagues in investment banking and equity research to identify promising growth companies and opportunities on behalf of his clients. He first joined Alex. Brown in 1991, where he served as a managing director and client advisor for more than 25 years, transitioning with the firm through several acquisitions. Earlier in his career, Mark worked as a client advisor at Bear Stearns, and in finance and product management at Procter & Gamble. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Boston College and attended the Securities Industry Institute® at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Mark aligns himself with clients who value giving back and serving the community. He is a board member, treasurer and chairman of the finance and investment committee of the Boch Center, and previously served as chairman of the board of overseers. In addition, Mark is on the board of Pine Street Inn, and a partner of Converge Venture Partners. In the past, he also served CommonAngels Ventures.
