Raymond James welcomes $200 million advisor team in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James welcomed financial advisors Mark Killingsworth, CFP®, and Stephen Vessey to Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. (RJFS) – the firm’s independent broker/dealer – in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, according to David Sisemore, Midwest regional director for RJFS.
The advisor duo joined from Wells Fargo Advisors, where they previously managed $200 million in client assets. They, along with Registered Client Service Associate Carrie Decker, operate as Killingsworth & Vessey Financial Partners.
“We were attracted to Raymond James’ exceptional focus on comprehensive financial planning for clients and continued commitment to its wealth management offerings,” said Vessey. “The advanced technology systems were an important part of our decision. We have realized the benefits of sophisticated, integrated technology tools in helping us make our practice more efficient and helping us to free up more time to spend with clients, especially in our current environment.”
Killingsworth has been in the financial services industry for more than three decades. Prior to Raymond James, he spent his career at A.G. Edwards & Sons and its successor firms Wachovia Securities and Wells Fargo Advisors. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and holds the Certified Financial Planner™ professional designation.
Vessey began his financial services career as an advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors prior to joining Raymond James. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and his master’s degree from Marian University. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, he enjoyed 22 years in public education as a teacher, principal, human resources director and superintendent.
“We’re pleased that Mark and Stephen chose Raymond James as their partner as they continue to grow their practice,” said Sisemore. “It’s times like this when many professionals, including advisors, must rely heavily on technology. We’re proud that the technology, resources and support that attracted them to the firm a short time ago are helping them to work efficiently with clients now when they need it most.”
