Raymond James continues westward expansion, welcomes seven-person team managing over half a billion dollars in assets in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Continuing the firm’s expansion in the West, Raymond James welcomed financial advisors Joseph R. Anderson, CPWA®, CRPC®, CFP®, Matthew A. Lyman, CPFA, CFP®, Jeffrey L. Smith, AAMS®, Heather Bolster and Tyler Christian Anderl, and senior registered client service associates Heather Bloom and Christopher Dallenbach to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm’s employee advisor channel – according to Patrick O’Connor, Northern divisional director for RJA.
Together the team of seven operates as Coeur Private Wealth Management of Raymond James in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. They join from Bank of America’s Merrill Lynch, where the advisors managed over $525 million in client assets.
“Raymond James’ presence in the West has continued to grow with the addition of high-caliber advisor teams like Coeur Private Wealth,” said O’Connor. “We’re seeing a lot of interest from large teams who want the freedom and flexibility to own their practice and run their business the way they know is best. Raymond James continues to be in consideration for many experienced advisor teams looking for a new firm that offers the optimal balance of support and independence as they serve their clients today and plan for future growth.”
“We were drawn by our shared values with Raymond James and how everything the firm does is centered around what is best for clients,” said Anderson, senior vice president, wealth management, and branch manager. “Raymond James gives advisors the independence to practice our craft and doesn’t impose any programs or quotas that don’t align our interests with those of our clientele. The word ‘culture’ gets used a lot, but it feels really refreshing and different at Raymond James. People are happy to be working for the organization and seem extremely proud of the work that they do to help support advisors in serving their clients. We’re very glad to be here.”
