Raymond James welcomes $300 million advisor team in Miami, Florida
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James welcomed experienced financial advisors Ernesto Angueira and Eric Muñoz to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm’s employee advisor channel – in Miami, Florida, according to Bert White, Florida regional director for RJA.
Angueira and Muñoz join Raymond James from UBS, where they previously managed approximately $300 million in client assets. They join RJA’s Miami office, which is managed by Mike Origlia and is part of the South Florida Complex, managed by Steve Sullivan. They are joined by Investment Portfolio Associate Nicholas Suarez and Client Service Associate Natalia Navarro and operate as Alianza Wealth Management Group of Raymond James.

Angueira has been in the financial services industry for 34 years. Prior to joining Raymond James, he spent 19 years at UBS and 15 years in private banking with Chase. Angueira has experience in advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients on a range of financial matters. He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and an MBA in international finance from St. Thomas University.
Muñoz began his financial services career in 2000. Prior to joining Raymond James, he was a senior vice president serving clients at UBS. Muñoz earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Florida State University and an MBA from Florida International University. He is treasurer of the Crockett Foundation, which provides educational opportunities to underserved youth in South Florida, and serves on the board of governors of the Florida State University College of Business. Muñoz also served on the board of the Florida State Alumni Association.
