Raymond James welcomes experienced advisor managing approximately $253 million in assets in Fairbanks, Alaska

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James welcomed experienced financial advisor Krista Stamper to Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. (RJFS) – the firm’s independent advisor channel – in Fairbanks, Alaska, according to Bill Counsman, West regional director for RJFS.

Stamper joined Raymond James and Concurrent, an advisor-owned partnership of independent practices affiliated with RJFS, from Wedbush Securities. She managed approximately $253 million in client assets and works with a variety of clients, with a large part of her practice focused on financial planning for retirees and those close to retirement age.

“What led me to Raymond James is all about what’s best for my clients – the best technology, the depth and breadth of the diverse investments, and award-winning investment research,” said Stamper, founder & managing director of Stamper Wealth & Retirement Group and RJFS financial advisor.

Stamper has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, with her love of investments beginning at an early age. “My father was a longtime stockbroker,” she said. “I worked in his office beginning in high school and later became his partner. My path to the family business was a natural progression with years of on-the-job training.”

Prior to joining Raymond James, she worked at Wedbush Securities for 14 years as a vice president, branch manager and financial advisor. Earlier, she was an investment executive, operations manager and registered sales assistant at Ragen MacKenzie/Wells Fargo Investments for 12 years.
